The problem is that, if I write a review that tells others how clean, peaceful, and stress free Aaron Lodge is lots of others will book and it will be full when I next need a booking.Plus if I added details about the generous breakfast included in the very reasonable cost I would never be able to get booked again.

They are amazing and were concerned when I did not come on time. I was delayed by traffic. They were kind and considerate to my needs.The bed was comfy and the place was clean and warm ( 1-3 November. It is in a built up area, however sat nav took me there so I knew where I was. The picture of the front really helps. BTW any problems with the lodge they only live across the way. The room is cleaned daily and fresh things if needed. (Tea/coffee etc) From a military background it was very clean and tidy.There are menus if you want to order in alsoI would be so happy to go there again next year.

A fine B&B, very clean, warm and a good breakfast. We had difficulty accessing the property as one of the roads leading to the property was closed, but after some phone calls we managed to negate this issue. The only real downside to the visit was our shower did not work; no water.

Aaron Lodge was a very welcome stop-over ona long car journey.Our room was immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and plenty of fresh towels. The room was equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was full of choices of cereals, orange juice, pastries, croissants, eggs, jams on a DIY basis. There is a microwave, and a cooker with hob and oven. A dining room and a television lounge. Highly recommend staying at this comfortable’Home-from-Home’.

We stayed at Aaron Lodge over the weekend and we all loved the experience. It’s nice and clean and feels like home. It wasn’t too crowded as they only have 4 rooms which gives some privacy. The owner is very friendly. All in all we had a great family time here.

A home from home.Everything you would require for your trip and so local to many amenities and motorway.A perfect spot to enjoy a comfortable stay where nothing is too much bother.This is the second time we have visited and have now made this our base when we visit family is Leicester.Hosts are A* and would highly recommend.

My idea of a guest house is someone meeting their guests and preparing a breakfast. Didn't see anyone apart from another guest. Clean and comfortable,shower was good, nice to have a hair dryer.

Kerry makes sure your needs are well-catered for. I was in room 3 which is really spacious. I had a great night's sleep. The kitchen is well-equipped. I was particularly impressed with both Lancashire and Yorkshire tea bags. I would recommend this guest house to all my family and friends

First time staying at Aaron Lodge and what a fabulous place!Gorgeous room with an ensuite, with everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay, such as a very good bed (we had an excellent night's sleep), soft sheets, fluffy towels, plenty of teas/coffees, and a TV with all freeview channels.There is a separate lounge, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen for guests to use. For breaksfast, there is a great choice of cereals, pastries, bread and jams, fresh milk in the fridge. Every possible kitchen implement and device, pans, cafetieres, cooking tools, it is all there for you to use. Such a peaceful, welcoming and lovely place, just like the host Kerry. Our stay was simply perfect. It is highly recommended!!!

Auntie and I had a delightful stay at the beautiful B&B. Everything was provided to make our short stay an exceptional experience. The whole house was clean and our room comfortable and warm. We would highly recommend to other people. It would have been lovely to have had another couple of days stay to explore the area. However, the short visit was to attend my son's wedding in Kirby Bellars. Thank you 'Aaron Lodge' for your kind hospitality especially directions when we got slightly lost driving in! We had a wonderful stay at Aaron Lodge the place was so clean & fantastic facilities. The room was absolutely perfect for us. We love the fact you could get up & make your breakfast as we was at a family party so had to be up & out the first morning and our second morning was more leisurely. Lovely welcome from the owner who lives opposite. Plenty of parking, spotlessly clean, comfortable homely bedroom with a basin, tv, and tea making facilities. Full use of a garden, lounge with tv, dining room, and kitchen diner with self service breakfast, very plentiful everything well stocked. Microwave, cooker, kettle and all cooking utensils to make your own meals if you were staying longer. Bathroom spotless and right opposite my bedroom on the ground floor. Would definitely stay here again excellent value for money.

I enjoyed my stay at Aaron Lodge which started with a lovely warm welcome. I was shown around the property and thebreakfast routine was explained.My room was warm, clean and well equipped and I enjoyed a very comfortable quiet night sleep.There was a varied choice for breakfast. I opted for poached eggs on wholemeal toast, coffee and a fruit yogurt. There was a large choice of cereals, porridge, fruit juice, croissants, pain au chocolate, raisin whirls and madeleines with a choice of marmalade, jams and preserves.Plenty of off street parking and good wifi. Outstanding value for money. Thank you.

Large and well appointed shower room. Great breakfast which is self service. As there’s no fixed starting time you for breakfast you will be disturbed by the first person at breakfast which in my case was 6.05 am.

The property is easy to find (we were in a car), Kerry the host came to greet us and give access, she also topped up kitchen stocks once we arrived!We used the kitchen throughout our brief stay, choosing to make tea and coffee down there rather than in our room.The room, which had an en-suite, was perfect for our family of 3, was nice and quiet.A reasonable check-out time in the morning too, I don't like to feel too rushed!

I travel a lot for my work and like to explore UK. I choose Aaron Guest house as it was close to the Hospital and was economical as well. Kay the owner was a very pleasant hos. Clean room and excellent Kitchen facilties. One use kitchen anytime and was stuffed with food and fruit. You can even cook if like. I would 💯 stay here again and recommend

Kerry and her mother were helpful friendly hosts who made me feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable & had everything I needed. It was great to have a well equipped kitchen (with breakfast items), dining area and living room to use during the stay. Outdoor area looked nice however I didn't use it during my stay. Ample parking, quiet area & 5 minute drive/ 25 minute walk to Asda supermarket for food/supplies. Would stay again!

Good modern, quiet, well maintained and clean accomm handy for the main road network just N of Leicester.Plenty of private parking right outside.I use this guest house when visiting the city or friends & family in the area.I particularly like the large d-i-y kitchen and breakfast arrangements.The beds are comfortable and the rooms warm and large, nothing you could want is missing !It’s not that easy to find - but trust your say-nav.(For a change !).Leicester is a great city anyway not expensive & well worth a visit.

We stayed here a few weeks ago. As we liked the stay so much we stayed again as we had a 9:30 am meeting in Leicester. Arrived at the meeting relaxed though it could not be said of others that attended that travelled. We will look at staying in the near future.

My cousin and I stayed for one night in a twin room and a double ensuite. Spotlessly clean and a wonderful comfortable beds. Highly recommended. The house was spotless and well maintained. A very cosy feeling and everything you could need in a home away from home. Kelly and Pete were perfect hosts and nothing too much trouble. We had a lovely stay here. We we're well looked after. The owners are really nice and nearby if you should need them. We loved the family room, and the bed was the best I'd ever slept on. Including my own. You can help yourself to breakfast, in your own time. We did use the kitchen for an evening meal, with everything you should need available. Everything was clean and tidy. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks to kerry and her mum for looking after us.

Aaron Lodge was quite a find and is suitable for anyone looking for clean, well presented accommodation at an affordable price. The single room that I used was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self-serve in the morning. Just the one shared bathroom but I would certainly return if I needed overnight accommodation in the city again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Communal spaces bright, airy and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and simple fruit, cereals, bread self service breakfast. We shared a bathroom which was clean but in need of a face-lift (grubby grouting, soapy shower curtain). Outside spaces definitely in need of a tidy up/ kerb appeal. Value short stay for a small budget.

I stayed at the Aaron Lodge for one night when in Leicestershire for a family event. The house was fully furnished & equipped like a home so truly was a home from home.The owners were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble (even though I arrived in the middle of their dinner).The location was nice, very quiet and not far from a shop.My room was a single and was clean (as was the whole place) and comfortable.The serve yourself breakfast was great, much better than I had envisaged.I don't get to Leicester much but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.!!!! Thank you !!!!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Aaron Lodge the night before we go to Ragdale Hall.Kerry is so friendly and welcoming and we feel quite at home using the kitchen and breakfast room facilities. There is also a nice patio area to have a cuppa if the weather is nice.Bedding is lovely and clean and fresh and there is a good selection of breakfast items. We will, I’m sure, be returning again!!

We stayed here whilst visiting family nearby and stayed in the twin room. Great place to stay, plenty of choice for breakfast (which is on a serve yourself basis), though can bring bacon etc to do yourself if you wish. Parking not a problem. Has outside patio / garden space for sitting out too. Large bathroom near our room. Facility nice and clean. TV lounge also available + dining areas in the dining room and kitchen. Owners live nearby if there are any problems. This is our second visit here and have booked again for later in the year.

This is great place to stay, single room is ideal size for one and is very comfortable.TV has been upgraded recently and is a good size for watching from bed.The real bonus is having a dining room, kitchen an lounge for relaxing outside of your room. Not forgetting the continental breakfast.Great all round package.

A very warm welcome. We arrived at 2130hrs & a lady from next door let us in & showed us around.We were upstairs in room four which unfortunately had a mattress that was extremely unsupportive which dipped in the middle. That led to an uncomfortable night’s sleep.The breakfast was disappointing. I was looking forward to a lovely hot English breakfast. Instead, I had a mediocre cold continental one.We will be returning to Leceister in the future, but not to this guest house.We missed the ‘Personal touch’ you often get in B&Bs during our stay.However, thank you for the warm welcome.

Found this hidden gem on Booking.com , lovely quiet area of Thurmaston, Leicester. A small courtyard of houses, the owners live across the courtyard. 4 bedrooms, 1 with didabled facilities, all en suite. A sitting room, dining room, well stocked kitchen. Brrakfadt is self service and included a wide range of choices, lovely coffee! Owners on hand if you need them. Comfy bed but only 1 chair in the room, but as you have a sitting room downstairs with a large TV... Would recommend, nice friendly owners and good location off the main roads but not far from the Space Centre. Thank you Kerry & Pete.

A fantastic B&B, spotlessly clean.A friendly welcome from the owner who lives just across the road.Very well equipped, anything you could need is there.Comfortable rooms, although the bedroom TV was perhaps a bit on the small side, but this was a minor issue, not a deal breaker, as there is the use of a large TV in the lounge downstairs.Breakfast genuinely was help yourself, plenty of choices and all fresh.Overall highly recommended!

Another welcoming stay at Aaron Lodge. Always reliable, clean and comfortable. Sound level travels from other visitors so not great if you’re sensitive to this but otherwise a home from home and I’ll be a regular visitor.

Lovely warm welcome and a very nice, spotlessly clean double room with en suite bathroom - very comfortable.Free use of lounge, dining room and kitchen which made for a relaxed stay.Breakfast foods supplied are plentiful and we particularly enjoyed not having to go down to breakfast at a specified time, as the lodge has a 'help yourself' policy - really great!Highly recommended, we shall certainly return.Thanks very much.

You can expect a wonderful welcome at this very well run bed and breakfast plus. There is a kitchen, lounge, dining room and garden available for guests use.I am a poor sleeper and the walls and ceiling are thin, like any normal house, so until midnight and again at 6 a m I was disturbed by the noise. However, this probably wouldn't bother someone else.I travel alone and felt very safe and secure. Everything was spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast laid out beautifully as a help yourself meal. There was even freshly ground coffeeavailable.For the price it was excellent value.

Had family room at the Lodge Fri night to Sun am. Owners lovely and nothing too much trouble for them. Ensuite had a tub/shower and toilet. Handy to be able to make own breakfast in the morning as could have this at a time of our choosing and there was the option to sit out in the garden if we wanted to. Parking no problem. Walking distance to Watermead country park. Don't know how long it would take to get to Leicester centre as we were at the family do nearby all weekend.

A fabulous stay at Aaron Lodge. Type of bedding changed to accommodate the hot weather, which was very much appreciated. Local Restaurant recommended and this was lovely for our anniversary. We watched the World Cup game in the homely lounge and had a wonderful stay. Just home from home. Fabulous

What a wonderful find. Complete privacy and a light breakfast really gave us the chance to enjoy Leicester and the surrounding districts. Aaron Lodge is well placed for getting everywhere so we went to Leicester, Stamford, Rutland Water, Oakham and Market Harborough before Nottingham on the final day. All within an hour. Accommodation modest and comfortable.
